Apex Rail Consultancy Ltd. was formed in 2020 by Alan Cudlipp, Principal Consultant and Director.
Alan is qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Chartered Railway Engineer and is professionally recognised as a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Railway Engineering Institution (formerly the Permanent Way Institution). He retired from full-time employment in 2019 and now enjoys running the consultancy business on a part-time basis.
The formation of Apex Rail Consultancy Ltd. arose after Alan was requested by various long-term clients to provide support to their projects. Alan now leads the business, providing direct support to clients as an engineering consultant, whilst also having access to a broad pool of qualified engineers and discipline experts in multiple aspects of rail engineering.
